About Intertexture

Reflecting its title, Intertexture is a journalistic publishing platform focused on contemporary spaces where the aesthetic and political are interwoven. The journal is interdisciplinary and is committed to the notion that the aesthetic and the political are deeply connected concepts, structuring both our everyday lives and our encounters with visual culture.

As a result, Intertexture will turn its critical attention to a broad range of subjects. Ranging from the aesthetics of protest to public art; the politics of visibility to the limits of representation; or satirical activism to critical curation.

By fostering a dialogue between these intellectual spheres Intertexture aims to develop sharper tools for understanding, creating and changing contemporary conditions.
